Acer tataricum subsp. semenovii

Semenov's maple is a compact deciduous tree or large shrub suited to temperate gardens with well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Native to Central Asia, it is more drought-tolerant once established than many maples and adapts well to continental climates with cold winters. Provide a sunny to partly shaded position and prune lightly in late winter to maintain shape.
