Allocasuarina littoralis

Black sheoak (Allocasuarina littoralis) is a hardy Australian native tree with fine, needle-like branchlets and attractive dark cones, well suited to coastal and woodland gardens. Once established it is drought tolerant and requires minimal watering, thriving in well-drained soils in partial shade to dappled light. It makes an excellent screening plant or windbreak and provides important habitat and food for native birds.
