Alpine cinquefoil is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial best suited to rock gardens, alpine beds, or well-drained slopes in full sun. Water regularly during establishment but reduce frequency once the plant is settled, as it tolerates moderate dryness. It thrives in poor to moderately fertile soils and requires little fertilization or intervention to perform well.
