Alpine-grass (Carex brizoides) is a graceful, arching sedge that forms attractive tufted clumps ideal for shaded borders, woodland gardens, and streamside plantings. It thrives in moist, humus-rich soils and tolerates both partial and full shade with ease. Once established it is very low maintenance and spreads gently to create excellent ground cover.
