Cerastium alpinum
Alpine mouse-ear is a delicate, silvery-leaved perennial suited to rock gardens, alpine troughs, and well-drained raised beds. It thrives in full sun with gritty, lean soil and excellent drainage — avoid rich or waterlogged conditions which will cause it to rot. Once established it is very low maintenance, producing small white flowers in late spring and early summer.
