This Central European subspecies of sea thrift thrives in well-drained, sandy or rocky soil with partial sun. Water regularly during the growing season but avoid waterlogged conditions, which can cause root rot. It forms tidy grass-like mounds topped with cheerful pink globe flowers and requires very little ongoing attention once established.
