Arnica longifolia

Seep arnica is a mountain wildflower native to western North America that produces cheerful yellow daisy-like blooms in summer and prefers cool, moist, well-draining soils in partial shade to full sun. It is well suited to rock gardens, native plant borders, and alpine-style landscapes where it can spread slowly via rhizomes to form attractive clumps. The genus Arnica has a long history of medicinal topical use, but handle with care as it can cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
