Astragalus purshii var. pumilio

Pursh's milkvetch (pumilio variety) is a rare, low-growing perennial native to Nevada's arid highland landscapes, best suited to rock gardens or native plant restorations. It requires well-draining, lean soils and thrives with partial shade and moderate, consistent moisture during the growing season. This plant is challenging to cultivate outside its native habitat and is not recommended for general home gardening.
