Australian violet thrives in partial shade and is an excellent low-maintenance groundcover for cool, moist spots in the garden. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and it will spread gently to form a dense mat of attractive foliage with delicate violet flowers. It tolerates light frost and performs well in containers or as an indoor plant in a bright, indirect-light position.
