Ball-moss
Tillandsia recurvata
Ball-moss is a low-maintenance epiphytic bromeliad that absorbs all its water and nutrients directly from the air through its silvery scales, requiring no soil at all. Mist it a few times per week or give it a brief weekly soak, and place it in bright indirect light with good air circulation to keep it healthy. It makes a charming, quirky addition to terrariums, driftwood displays, or hanging arrangements indoors.
