Yucca glauca (Soapweed or Bear-grass) is an extremely drought-tolerant, architectural plant native to the Great Plains that thrives in full sun and well-drained to dry soils. It requires very little water once established and is highly resistant to heat and cold. Its tall creamy-white flower spikes in summer are a spectacular feature and attract pollinators including moths.
