Black chokeberry

Black chokeberry is a hardy, adaptable shrub that tolerates a range of soil types and performs well in partial shade to full sun. Water regularly during the first season to establish roots, then reduce frequency as the plant matures and becomes more self-sufficient. It produces showy spring flowers and nutritious dark berries attractive to wildlife, requiring little pruning or intervention.
