Black saltwort
Lysimachia maritima
Black saltwort is a low-growing coastal perennial adapted to salty, often waterlogged soils along shores and salt marshes, making it excellent for native coastal garden restoration. It requires very little care once established and is highly tolerant of salinity and wind exposure. This plant is best suited to specialist native plant gardens and is rarely found in mainstream retail nurseries.
