Blackbrush is a slow-growing, extremely drought-adapted shrub native to the arid deserts and mesas of the American Southwest. Plant it in well-draining, rocky or sandy soil in a full-sun location and water sparingly once established. It requires virtually no supplemental care and is an excellent choice for xeriscaping and native habitat restoration projects.
