Branched horsetail

Branched Horsetail is an ancient, architectural perennial fern-ally that thrives in moist soils near water features, ponds, or in rain gardens. It prefers partial shade to full sun and should be kept consistently moist, as it naturally grows along streams and ditches. Be mindful that horsetails can spread aggressively via rhizomes, so container planting or root barriers are recommended in garden beds.
