Bristle grass

Bristle grass (Trisetum spicatum) is a hardy, tufted alpine grass that thrives in full sun and well-drained soils across mountainous and arctic regions. It requires very little care once established — simply plant in a sunny, open spot and water occasionally during dry spells. It makes an attractive, naturalistic addition to native meadow plantings, rock gardens, or cold-climate landscapes.
