Broncho grass

Broncho grass is a robust annual brome grass that establishes readily in disturbed soils, roadsides, and open areas with minimal care. It tolerates a range of conditions but is most commonly encountered as a naturalized weed rather than a cultivated ornamental. Seed-heads provide food for birds but note that its sharp awns can be a nuisance in lawns or areas with pets.
