Bryum dichotomum is a small cosmopolitan moss that grows in dense cushions and thrives in consistently moist, shaded environments, making it suitable for terrariums, moss gardens, or shaded rockeries. Keep its substrate — typically soil, rock, or bark — constantly damp by misting regularly, especially indoors where humidity may be low. Avoid direct sunlight, which can dry out and bleach the delicate fronds.
