Bur medic is a resilient, low-maintenance legume that grows well in a variety of soils and partial shade conditions. Water every 7-10 days and allow the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. It is often used as a cover crop or forage plant and fixes atmospheric nitrogen, benefiting surrounding garden beds.
