Burnt tip orchid

The Burnt tip orchid is a rare, terrestrial European orchid that requires very specific growing conditions, including well-drained, calcareous (chalky or limestone) soil and full sun to partial shade. It depends on specific soil fungi for germination and long-term survival, making it extremely challenging to cultivate and nearly impossible to establish outside carefully prepared wildflower meadows.
