Cabbage coneflower

Cabbage coneflower is a tall, dramatic native perennial reaching 6-7 feet, with large blue-green cabbage-like basal leaves and bold yellow coneflowers with prominent drooping petals. It thrives in full sun to part shade in moist, fertile soils and is excellent for the back of a border or naturalistic meadow planting. Once established it is low-maintenance, self-seeds reliably, and provides seeds that attract finches through winter.
