Cade juniper
Juniperus oxycedrus
Cade juniper is a tough, drought-adaptable Mediterranean shrub or small tree that excels in well-drained, rocky or sandy soils in full sun. Once established it requires very little supplemental watering and is remarkably tolerant of poor soils. Its aromatic wood and berries have traditional medicinal uses, and the berries provide food for wildlife.
