Amorpha californica
California false indigo is a native California shrub best suited to well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade, and it requires little care once established. Water regularly during the first growing season to develop a strong root system, then reduce frequency as the plant adapts. It is an excellent choice for wildlife gardens and native plant landscapes throughout the American Southwest.
