Caltrop

Caltrop is a hardy, sun-loving plant that thrives in poor, dry soils and requires very little supplemental watering once established. It is often grown for its reputed medicinal and adaptogenic properties rather than as an ornamental. Be aware that its sharp, spiny seed pods can be a hazard to bare feet and pets, so placement should be chosen carefully.
