Camassia quamash is a hardy native bulb that thrives in moist, well-drained soil and partial to full sun. Plant bulbs in autumn at a depth of about 3–4 inches and water regularly through spring bloom; foliage will die back naturally in summer. It naturalizes beautifully in meadow gardens and requires very little intervention once established.
