Canby's biscuitroot is a specialist native wildflower best suited to rocky, well-drained soils in the Pacific Northwest. It requires patience as it establishes slowly from a deep taproot and dislikes root disturbance. Best planted in naturalistic or native plant gardens where it can be left undisturbed.
