Cape pittosporum is a versatile African evergreen tree or large shrub that performs well in warm, frost-free climates with moderate water and partial to full sun. Its clusters of small, creamy-white flowers are sweetly fragrant and provide excellent wildlife value. It makes a superb screen, hedge, or specimen tree in gardens across USDA zones 9–11.
