Ceanothus cuneatus var. cuneatus

Buckbrush is a tough, drought-adapted California native shrub that produces masses of small white to pale blue flowers beloved by pollinators in late winter to spring. Once established, it requires very little supplemental water and is well suited to dry, rocky, or sandy soils with excellent drainage. Avoid overwatering and heavy clay soils, as overly wet conditions are the primary cause of failure with this plant.
