Centaurea montana

Mountain cornflower (Centaurea montana) is a cheerful, spreading perennial producing vivid blue, fringed flowers from late spring into summer. It grows happily in average soil with partial shade to full sun and needs minimal care once established. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers and divide clumps every few years to keep it vigorous.
