Chylismia cardiophylla subsp. robusta

The robust heartleaf suncup is a rare California-endemic subspecies best suited to sandy or gravelly, well-drained soils in gardens with a Mediterranean climate. Like its relatives, it prefers infrequent deep watering and does not tolerate standing water or heavy clay. It is an excellent choice for native plant restoration gardens or drought-tolerant landscape designs.
