Claytonia perfoliata subsp. intermontana

Intermontane miner's lettuce is a hardy cool-season perennial suited to part-shade woodland gardens and moist rocky slopes. It grows quickly in loose, well-drained soil and requires little care beyond regular watering during dry spells. It self-seeds generously and makes an attractive, low-growing ground cover in native plant gardens.
