Common mango
Mangifera indica
Common mango is a large tropical fruit tree that requires full sun, warm temperatures, and a frost-free environment to thrive and produce its famous sweet fruit. Water regularly during the growing season but reduce irrigation during the cooler, drier months to encourage flowering and fruiting. In cooler climates it can be grown in a large container and brought indoors during winter, though fruit production will be limited without ample heat and sunshine.
