Coral honeysuckle
Lonicera sempervirens
Coral honeysuckle is a vigorous native vine celebrated for its long season of brilliant orange-red tubular flowers that hummingbirds absolutely adore. It grows easily on trellises, fences, or arbors in partial shade to full sun and is far better behaved than its invasive Japanese cousin. Provide a sturdy support structure, water regularly during dry spells, and trim back after flowering to keep it tidy.
