Corkwood

Annona glabra, known as pond apple or corkwood, is a tropical to subtropical tree that naturally thrives in wet, swampy conditions and is tolerant of periodic flooding. Plant in full sun to partial shade in consistently moist to wet soil, and provide regular watering especially during dry spells. The tree produces edible, apple-like fruits and is an important wildlife tree, though it can become invasive in certain tropical regions outside its native range.
