Creeping liriope is a tough, low-maintenance groundcover that adapts well to sun or partial shade and a range of soil types. Once established it spreads vigorously via underground stolons, making it excellent for erosion control or filling large areas quickly. Water regularly during the first season; after that it requires minimal attention.
