Creeping speedwell is a low-growing perennial that spreads quickly across lawns and garden beds, producing a carpet of delicate blue flowers in spring. It tolerates a range of conditions and requires very little attention once established, making it a virtually no-maintenance groundcover. Be aware that it can spread aggressively in lawns, so plant in contained beds if you prefer to limit its spread.
