Crepis modocensis subsp. subacaulis

This nearly stemless subspecies of Modoc hawksbeard is a compact perennial native to California, Nevada, Oregon, and Montana, growing close to the ground in open or partially shaded sites. It is well suited to rock gardens or native plant borders where it can spread naturally with minimal care. Water moderately and ensure good drainage to replicate its natural habitat conditions.
