Western hawksbeard is a low-growing native perennial well suited to open, rocky, or disturbed sites in western North America. It is undemanding once established, tolerating dry conditions and requiring little supplemental watering. Plant it in a wildflower or native meadow garden and allow it to naturalize with minimal intervention.
