Cutgrass is a vigorous wetland perennial grass that thrives in moist to flooded soils along pond edges, stream banks, and rain gardens. It tolerates full sun to partial shade and requires little care beyond managing its spread. Its dense stands provide excellent cover and food for waterfowl and wetland birds.
