Cytisophyllum sessilifolium

Cytisophyllum sessilifolium is a shrubby Mediterranean legume related to broom, producing clusters of bright yellow pea-like flowers on arching stems in summer. It thrives in full sun to part shade in well-drained, moderately fertile soil and is reasonably drought-tolerant once established. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape, and avoid heavy clay soils that may cause root rot.
