Distant sedge is a clump-forming perennial grass-like plant well suited to moist, shaded areas of the garden such as pond margins, rain gardens, or damp borders. It is undemanding once established, requiring only occasional watering during dry periods and minimal tidying in late winter to remove old foliage. An excellent choice for naturalising wet or semi-shaded spots where other plants struggle.
