Three-leaved valerian is a charming alpine perennial native to mountain woodlands and rocky slopes of central and southern Europe. It thrives in cool, shaded to partially sunny spots with consistently moist, well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens or shaded borders. Its delicate white to pale pink flower clusters attract pollinators and provide a subtle ornamental display in spring and early summer.
