Drooping prairie coneflower is a cheerful, easy-care native perennial that produces drooping yellow petals around a tall grayish cone throughout summer. It thrives in full sun to partial shade with average, well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for prairie-style or pollinator gardens. Deadhead spent blooms to extend flowering, or leave seed heads standing to feed birds through winter.
