Early marsh orchid

Early marsh orchid is a stunning native terrestrial orchid that requires very specific growing conditions — consistently moist, alkaline to neutral, nutrient-poor soil in an open sunny position. It is best suited to naturalistic meadow or bog garden settings and is not recommended for standard garden beds or containers. Avoid fertilizing, as rich soils will suppress its growth; instead, replicate its natural wet meadow habitat as closely as possible.
