Eriodictyon californicum

Yerba Santa (Eriodictyon californicum) is a fragrant, drought-tolerant shrub native to California and Oregon that thrives in well-drained soils with full sun to light shade. Once established it requires very little supplemental water and is well-suited to dry slopes, native gardens, and fire-resistant landscapes. It has a long history of medicinal use by Native American peoples and produces attractive lavender to white tubular flowers in spring.
