Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium

This woolly-leaved variety of flat-topped buckwheat is a tough, drought-adapted native shrub ideal for water-wise and pollinator gardens in the Southwest. Once established, it requires very little supplemental watering and thrives in poor, well-drained soils with plenty of sun. Avoid overwatering and heavy clay soils, which can cause root rot.
