Marumleaf buckwheat is a native western perennial prized for its clusters of small yellow to cream flowers that attract native pollinators including bees and butterflies. It thrives in well-drained, rocky or sandy soils and is well suited to dry rock gardens and native plantings in California and the Pacific Northwest. Once established, it requires very little care beyond occasional watering during prolonged dry spells.
