Eriogonum umbellatum var. chlorothamnus

The green-shrub sulfur buckwheat is a rare California native perennial with a shrubby habit, best grown in full sun to part shade in well-drained, gritty soil. It needs only occasional deep watering and is well suited to dry slopes, rock gardens, and native plant landscapes. Avoid heavy clay soils and overwatering, which are the most common causes of decline.
