Eriogonum umbellatum var. juniporinum

Sulfur buckwheat is a tough, drought-adapted perennial best suited for rock gardens, slopes, and native plantings in the Intermountain West. Plant in full sun to part shade with excellent drainage and sandy or gravelly soil, and avoid overwatering as wet roots will cause rot. Once established, this plant requires very little attention and rewards you with cheerful yellow flower clusters that attract bees and butterflies.
