Eriogonum umbellatum var. porteri

Porter's Sulphur Flower is a tough, low-growing wildflower native to the high deserts of Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens and xeriscape plantings. Plant in well-drained, gritty soil with full sun and avoid overwatering, as it is adapted to dry, rocky conditions. Once established, it requires very little maintenance and rewards gardeners with cheerful clusters of yellow flowers that attract native pollinators.
